New running style !

Resting HR - 47 bpm
Weight - 69.7 kg
I brought my new shoes for a recovery jog this evening. They are minimalist and they do take getting used to. With there being no heel, you automatically run on your forefoot and this takes gradual progression. I have tight Achilles' tendons at the moment so I was a bit worried I might overcook them even with an easy jog. It really feels like you are barefoot at times and the one thing I will say over everything else is that they give a great sense of control as of foot placement.
Still, I'll need to, in future just venture a tad shorter in distance.
Run - 7:25 pm Recovery jog
Route - Home - pitch - dunes - pitch - home.
Distance - 6.08 miles
Time - 50:42
Av pace - 8:20 min/mi
Stats - 8:13, 8:22, 8:36, 8:28, 8:03, 8:22, 7:58(pace)
