Six weeks and three days to go and I have an niggly injury - BUMMER !!
But hey, I'll perservere and hopefully I'll make the start on June the 8th for my first Ultra - "The Mourne Way Ultramarathon" all 52 miles of beautiful scenery and brutal climbs.
This is going to be a diary of events, thoughts, training runs, missed training runs, doubts, diets, conversations - basically a warts and all story of how I made it to the finish line.
I think it's important to log all of this so that I can learn from my mistakes and move forward on to my ultimate goal of running UTMB or the Ultra Trail de Mont Blanc in three years time.
